Japanese Military Case???

Thought this was Japanese, it is made of some kind of fibre type material with metal parts. Looks military but have struggled to translate the kanji and so far they are not what I was expecting! First 2 seem to protect and poison, last 2 are tool!

Thanks for that Guy, those kanji had me stumped! So military then, wonder what kind of tools they would be??? Always amazed at how items like this have moved around the planet, and in this 'case' ended up in England.

I couldn't find any images of the tools, but I did find a list of contents from this Chinese blog

It is beyond my abilities to attempt a translation.

That's fascinating Guy. Are there many collectors in China??? Actually when I saw what the box was for I did give a passing thought to China as I had heard that many Japanese chemical weapons went there.
