Japanese NCO Sword Knott Opinion

Article about: Hi I have had this sword knot for over 20yrs. How does it look? Original?

  1. #11

I assume that since it does not have a buckle, it must be of late war manufacture. Is that correct?

  2. #12

Yes, late war knot. The early knots had the buckle to fit on the brass tsuba NCO's

I think of these as coming into play at what I'll call the end stage of early war. They continued on through the mid and late war.
