    Hi Kaj, close up pics are needed as these are faked in China.

    At the moment, I am not crazy about it, looking at the grip.

    Hi, I'm actually wondering the same thing. I have exactly the same sword. It was given to my grandfather as a gift who was an officer in Singapore in WW2. So yes its authentic. I'm not selling mine though, but would be quite interested to know as we are shipping it to Australia and need to insure it. Mine has a 5 digit serial number on the lower part on the blade.
