    I am trying to get information on this sword. i need to try to find the maker of it here is the picture i have of the japanese writing thanks Brian

    Hi Brian , i believe the smith is Fujiwara Masayuki . Can you post some pics of the blade please , it would be nice to see it

    Without seeing the actual signature, it is impossible to determine which Masayuki made this blade. The shape would indicate a blade made in the Edo period.
