Japanese shipboard helmet

It has been a while since I posted anything on this forum.

Here is a rare bird. A shipboard Japanese helmet with a tag named to Petty Officer 2nd Class Iida （飯田二曹 / Iida Ni-so). Originally sourced from a vet estate in Australia.

A bit salty, but hard to find in any condition.
