Japanese Sun Helmet

Another item of my expensive day yesterday. It was like Christmas morning except I had to pay for everything..Eitherway a very happy day.

Really liking this pick up! Don't see them often.

A really minty IJA Tropical Sun Helmet. A few small stains on the back but otherwise perfect.

Weather was not good so pictures are a little washed out. Sorry.

Can anyone help with the translation so I don't have to ask the wife? Looks like it is named also!

Does anyone know the model #? I've seen it referenced as a model 90 but not sure if that is right?

I can read that it was made in Showa Ju Hachi Nen(18th year of Showa) which is 1943.
