    Could this be a Japanese Sword? The long handle looks like a Japanese sword, but I just cannot tell. It has these S shaped markings on it. It also has a wooden scabbard. If not Japanese, then what country could it be from? I will really appreciate any help.

    It is not Japanese. It is Southeast Asian and likely an implement.
