Article about: I cannot tell if this is a fantastic sword blade or a ww2 era one? Someone sent me.some pictures and I can not tell, what do you think?

    Blimey it doesn't even look like Japanese writing....but hey...I'm still very much on a learning curve, thanks to Bob Coleman & co

    A weak nakago and cheap tsuba which would lead one to the conclusion it is a Chinese copy. In the future, more complete pictures of the blade and fittings would help. From these pictures, walk away.

    As John said, the characters on the nakago are not Japanese. I did not even see them in the first picture.
