Late war Japanese sword?

Hello All,
I was hoping for some identification on a couple of swords.
First one is a "Last Ditch" supposedly made in '45.
Sure looks old, has a beautiful balance.
The blade is 1 14" wide and 5/16" thick.

No guard and only one washer.
One half of a bamboo pin and cloth around the tang.

The sword blade looks to be mono steel, has a fair polish and very sharp.

The handle wrap is very frayed and old looking.

Can anyone help with identification at all?

The second sword is supposedly a early war brass handled NCO sword made in 1943.

The blade is rusty and pitted, looks to be mono steel and very sharp.
It is stamped on the top part of the blade with the numbers 46583

The handle is old wood inside a brass covering.

Thanks for any help in identifying these swords.

An intact photo of the tang of the first sword might help. The condition of the blade makes it difficult to make any judgement from the pictures.
It is never necessary or advisable to dismantle an NCO sword. They are machine made blades and unmarked. Your are tempting fate by doing so.

The 2nd one has the Kokura arsenal mark made from 1935-45 sorry i cant be of more help.

Thanks for the info on the NCO sword, the pin is broke on the top and kinda came out so I pulled the handle, it went together really easily and tight. I just need a new pin screw.
