Default My 2nd IJA Type 95 NCO sword

Just added my second Type 95 NCO sword to the collection today, It is an earlier Tokyo arsenal sword (I think) with brass tsuba and matching numbers to the blade and saya No 124118. Quite a lot of original paint remains also the remains of some sort of rope or string attached to the sarute.

Another good example for your collection made for the Tokyo Arsenal under Kokura Administration.

If you wish, measure the width of the rim of the tsuba and see if it's the earlier 11mm thick version or the slightly later 9mm thick type. Both are still considered early, just one earlier than the other.

    Stu
