My Japanese type 26 revolver question

Article about: I just picked this Type 26 up for my collection. I am thinking somebody did a perfect nickle job on it? I paid \\$325. I found it quite beautiful. Even the lock work is perfect.

    Hi, welcome to the forum!

    The GI's were very fond of nickle plating items. It was very fashionable in the 1940's.
