NA stamp on Mumei Nakago, Gendaito??

Article about: Hello, can a Mumei sword with a Nagoya stamp be a Gendaito?? The seller claims the stamp is on page 57 of the oshigata book from John Scott Slough. Sadly enough i don't own this book. A nota

    A notare hamon is slightly visible

    It can be.....but need to be examined in hand.

    By the way.... It has a awful lot of seppas. Not right.
    It ones had a leather seppa with lock strap.

    Do you have better photos of the blade?

    The Tsuka belongs not original to this blade, the original Tsuka was shattered.

    Got my doubts about the leather combat cover.

    The only reason a gendaito would be unsigned would be the fact that it had a flaw in it's forging and a one point rejected by a blade inspection committee. I learned this fact from Kaname Moriwaki(smith name Masataka)founder of the Minatagawa Jinga forge. I came across an unsigned example of his forge's work with only the kikusui mon stamp. This was the information he imparted to me. The blade was house in a low quality temporary shirasaya at the time I found it.
