Navy war camp flag from Japan

Hi ,
Just got this flag and it was taken home by a British P.o.w. from Japan.

I have used Black light and it dosnt glove.
It also got the smell and saltyness that indicates its from ww2.

That is one extremely nice flag. The off-center sun disc
indicates it is indeed a IJN flag.........
