Neat Japanese flag

Here is one that i got from a Veteran, Lou Bower, as i have a lot of his US pins and patches that iam going to frame,,he brought this back along with some other Japanese things that i will post.

Here is the flag,t he cool thing that i like is usualy they are either plain or somewhat filled with signatures this one looks like the family /freinds were just getting started on signing it as the war must have came to a quick end as I realy like this one as just imagine they began signing it they POW the US came and stopped it from being completed? Just a thought,,,i wish i new more!! but cool either way..i also have a plastic Japanese rifle site?? strange and a map, cigarette case..

This one is cotton as lou cut the bottom off as it was in bad shap,,,thats a no ,no!!

Thanks guys!! Do you guys have any thoughts on the plastic rifle site ? It came from the vet,as did they later in war use plastic,or maybe a toy from over there?its pretty well marked ?thanks again !
