I just received this salty field cap. I hope you like it. Can anyone help with the kanji?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, looking forward to seeing what this reads. It's pretty hard to see - you might try taking the photos and playing with contrast and or photo effects to see if it helps pull the characters out more? Either way - good luck
I can't clearly see the last kanji, but will make a guess.

I love salty items like this!!!
I have my doubts. Where are the A&B issue stamps?
I'm not sure, but there are very faint traces of what could have been stamps. Also, my photos make the kanji look like it is in the crown of the cap. It's on the side by a size indicator on the sweatband. Could the kanji have been added later?
I believe the size is medium?
That would be a civilian cap, not military. Military caps must have the owner name within the box of the B stamp and, as uniform items could have up to 5 owners in the life of the item, regulations on where to place your name was strictly followed in the IJA.
Thank you Nick.
