Not sure if I have the right Forum for this but there is an Saya on Ebay that I am looking to bid on.
Original WW2 Japanese Army Shin Gunto Saya Samurai Sword Sheath Scabbard Katana | eBay
From the foto's, would it seem to be an authentic Saya?

That is a genuine WW2 era Japanese Army officer's saya. If you are considering buying it for a blade you own, please note that no two Japanese swords have exactly the same curve, length or shape. to find a metal saya to fit a blade it was never made for is a very long shot for sure.

Thanks Bob. I am just looking to add it to a hopefully growing collection that I can enjoy in my mancave. It does not need to have a sword to fit so that is not an issue
Thanks for the verification!
Hi Kevin, I have added the pics to your post as E Bay links die over time.
Cheers, Ade.
