It has been a good year for me collection wise, and I have finally found a nice example of a Steel Anchor Naval helmet to add to my collection.I thought I would share a few pics for reference. Regards,Geoff
they must be quiet rare has most of Japanese navy ships are on the bottom.
Nice one Geoff
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
I'm Spartacus, not really i'm Paul!...
Thank you all I know nothing about unit numbers etc. I was hoping someone who is into that aspect of research might have some additional info regarding the markings in the crown of the helmet. They appear to be the kanji for the number 2 over the Arabic Numerals 5767 ??? Any help appreciated,Regards,Geoff
Nice example Geoff!
Very nice example Geoff. Definitely one on my wish list!
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

nice helmet. wish mine was in as good a condition. Might post it sometime.
Here's a little information on these. Japanese helmet, machine gun damage, japanese text inside cloth cover, translation?
Note the anchor mark on the liner band. Kure naval base?
Hope someone can help with the numbers.
These do not come up very often , congratulations on a super find Geoff
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
Nice one, congrats.
