Strange Frog On Japanese Bayonet

    For some reason the last few years these have popped up more and more in Iowa?
    I am not sure if they have just been sitting in trunks or what?
    I also did some more looking in my books and there was a cardboard/paper one that was also "rubberized" or coated to protect the paper.

    My leather frog is similar to the rubberized frog shown above. The similarities between my leather one and the rubberized one are close. I assume it to be Japanese with a GClick image for larger version.
