As was I when I was a kid - sadly I dont build scale models any more.
One of my friends is a very active diorama/model builder though he deals mainly in armour.
We have visited several museums together, were we both take way too many pics and video of the vehicles, LOL.
I only had a few hours at Kubinka outside Moscow, but could easily have come back there several days in a row.

Very nice photos. I'm moving back to Japan in a couple months. I have actually never been to this site. I'll have to try to check it out myself.

I've just managed to squeeze in a visit on the last day of my business trip.
Great museum, very interesting, although needs a volunteer to do some more English translation. it is very well done and well worth a visit.
It is interetsing how it is viewed in Japan, I got a very mixed bag of reactions when I told people at work I was going.
Steve.

Brrrrrrr..... that looks cold! At least, to *this* Californian.
Takasan, is the museum still selling that book that attempts to discredit claims of atrocities in China, saying all the photographs are faked? Urkkkk!

Hi Guy-san,
I don't think I see any of those books. Didn't pay much attention to those.
Cheers!
