Translation assistance on a type 90 helmet

I have this type 90 helmet shell and I was hoping I could get a translation of the kanji that is on the rim.

The dot above the し is stylistic -- I'm certain I've seen it before, but can't recall any examples.

This shell is one of 2 that I got that I believe were sent post war to another nation as the liner has been cut out and also the other one I have has had chinstrap bails hardware added to the shell
