Type 90 Japanese Helmet?

Article about: Hi everyone, this belongs to a friend of mine..so any help would be great..my concerns are, the 4 holes at the top of the helmet and the outside paint colour..it is stamped,but im not sure o

    Its a good original type 90 helmet. The vent holes are standard. The original brownish paint is certainly present but I presume the brighter green paint is not original as I have not seen that colour paint on Japanese items before.

    Also, it has the Japanese date mark 15 on the liner which is 1940.
