Type 90 training bayonet?

Article about: I have always wondered if one of my type 90 bayonets were for training or not. I've compared it to another one, top bayonet is sharp, while the training one is completely dull. Any opinions

    I have always wondered if one of my type 90 bayonets were for training or not. I've compared it to another one, top bayonet is sharp, while the training one is completely dull. Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

    The bayonet is just "as issued" which is preferable in my opinion.

    Agree with Steve.

    The pictures of the top bayo appears that someone took a grinder to the blade to sharpen it.

    That said, not sure if pictures 3 and 4 are of the spine or the bottom of the blade. They are quite blurry.

    The lower Japanese bayonet that does not have an edge is a training bayonet. This type is identified in "Bayonets from Janzen's Notebook"
