Thought I'd share this very unusual cast metal helmet. Insignia is cast into exterior. Likely civilian defense/ last ditch homeland defense navy helmet. A similar example was reported decades ago.

I'm surprised that show still exists! Unfortunately I work weekends. This helmet is a first for me. Never seen another. I heard of another example had surfaced 15-20 yrs ago at the MAX or SOS. Uncertain if this is that one.
There is a fairly recent thread on these but i can't find it!...
