White navy cap picture

I bought this original picture some weeks ago because i found it nice to see the non text book Anchor on this white navy cap.
first time i see this Anchor patch on a white navy cap.

I think it is a type 3 cap green like uniform (type 3 work dress)

So you think it is green here is the full picture for me it looks white like on the other soldier and the color looks very similar as they undershirt.

Both hats look white to me — and since the under shirts and tags also are white, I do not think it is an effect caused by the lighting.
