It Looks ok to me , my Mate has one his father bought back looks exactly the same.

This appears to be an extremely rare early copper tsuka NCO gunto (or its trying to be), These are very hard to come by and are highly faked. Bigger pictures may be needed, but just from looking I don't like it.

From the pix it looks brass...? Is that possible for originals?
I am pretty sure that the early swords were copper handled only.
Compare it to this original, there is a big colour difference in the tsuka.

For sure!....until I saw that link to the copper, I didn't know "they" existed. They're beautiful! So, the one in the ad is bogus?
Note the collar is copper. Handle is brass. Perhaps someone striped all the original paint off handle.
