The price should tell you immediately that theres something not quite right here, $155.00 for a collectable item like this, plus this person purports to deal in very rare items, as was said at Bastogne, "NUTS"

That is not, and will never be, a WW2 Japanese Katana. It's just 'Fake-U' dyNASTY Chinese repro crap.

Ditto the above comments - Chinese crap.................!

For a good WWII era sword, expect to pay about
$800 to $1000. Cost will be a lot more
for one with an older blade.

This item has no resemblance to a true Japanese sword. As the other members have stated, pure junk from China.

Unless you know them, NEVER buy collectibles from ANY seller in China! China is making most of the fakes in old coins, toys, militaria, etc...

Ditto to what Ric said- treat anything from China as Anathema. It seems that China has solved their waste disposal problems by simply sending the rest of the world their garbage. William
