    Hello,

I am still a newcomer on your forum. I would like to ask you if you find this sword worth buying and whether it is fake.

It is impossible to make any form of decision from the poor pictures posted. It appears that the end of the tang has been cut and threaded to accept an early form of military or police mounting. This is likely a true hand forged older blade. However, it appears that someone has sanded the patina off the tang. The blade is likely not a Chinese fake. At the same time, I would not risk bidding on this piece due to the obvious damage to the tang. The pictures themselves do not show enough to determine if the blade has any other flaws. All of my comments are based somewhat on conjecture as the images are very poor.
