WW2 Japanese Winter Tunic with Corpral Rank - 1944

Article about: Hi all, I recently brought this tunic for \\$250 NZ\\$ now i know nothing about Japanese items what they are worth ect. Would anyone be able to give me some info on this? Cheers Dan

    If you search the forum using my username you will see some posts where I stated learning about these, there are many helpful replies by forum members. I can see Type 3, middle sized, Showa 19, and the Osaka arsenal on your jacket stamps. It's good to have a hand writte n name as per yours, shows it was used.

    Showa year 19 would translate to 1944. It is based on the reign of the emperor time frame. NH
