WWII Japanese helmet

Does anyone have rough estimate of this helmet? The guy that has it wants $80 dollars for it, is that a good price?

First of all you have to authenticate the helmet, does it have a liner, any markings , does the paint look period applied, from these pictures any estimate given will not be helpful, if its real then $80 is dirt cheap, if its a repro then its about the right price, you need to have better close ups of as many areas on the helmet as possible, better still hands on inspection

Well it looks like an original battledamaged helmet with original star insignia, a snip for the money

thats a steal for a genuine battlefield pick up with battle damage, it will make a nice display piece
