WWII Japanese Sword?

Article about: I have a WWII Japanese sword. It came directly from a WWII USMC Vet who served in the 4th Marine Division. It was supposedly used in a charge, and there is blood on the tip. Can anyone tell

    There is no way to tell where it was made from the information available. If you want a translation of the factory worker's name(he is not a swordsmith), please make a clear picture of the kanji and post the picture in the correct direection as you did not follow instructions and posted the pictures on their side.

    In post #2 there appears to be a tiny stamping on the nakago (tang) that I cannot quite make out. Have a look at the linked page and see if one of those shown matches with what is on your sword. Perhaps when viewed in hand it can be identified.
