Pick up this flag recently and started to translate it. The part that interesting to me was "Yamamoto Army General". Trying to narrow down the Yamamoto and match up a signature if possible. Sorry for sideways photo. Everytime I send it from my phone it does this.

The problem is sending the pic from my phone to the pc. Then uploading it 😢
You should never use your phone for taking such photos, as the low resolution and bad focus only will invite mistakes.
For starters, you put yourself on a totally wrong trail. He was General Eisuke Yamamoto of the Navy, not Army.
