Just picked this up - 98K bayonet nice blade/scabbard and frog. The blade is marked as is the scabbard with the same numbers 6234 - blade is also marked "g" below the serial number. On the reverse side the blade is marked with the year "44" & maker fnJ" - Waffen Ampt mark on the upper hilt.

I just noticed that on the back of the leather frog there are numbers pressed into the leather- kind of hard to read but it looks like "1/1138/6" - could be a mker RB number???
