Default anyone know what Tr. means on a bayonet & scabbard?

I have a k-98 scabbard that is marked 41crs on 1 side & 15255 with Tr. under the #, today I bought a bayonet with 41crs on one side of the blade & 17487 with Tr. under the # on the other side. does anyone know the meaning of this marking? I just wish they were matching #'s, thanks for any help.

P.S i imagine it would have to be the manufacturers trademark, as you probably already well know.

I don't think it is the trademark as it already has "crs" (Paul Weyersberg). Not sure I've ever seen an explanation.

Weyersberg certainly made bayonets for the Police and the Reichspost so these bayonets could be part of a contract for one of the many organisations equipped with the k98 rifle.

The "Tr" marking has I think only ever been seen on 41 crs bayonets.

no man actually you are the first one that knew about this, all I know is that it was some kind of limited run & it is rare? so you know more than I do, because that was all I knew, thanks to both of you, Richie & Phil, for some answers. I appreciate that much!

Is it rare ? - well they don't seem too be too common. Your serial numbers are the highest I've seen reference to.

I have a mismatched one as well - 15374 Tr (blade) 12635 Tr (scabbard)

There is a matched one here

As far as I know, letters seen under the serial number are a code which indicates
an amount of 10,000 bayonets produced - ie, the first 10,000 bayonets made
would have no code letter, the next batch of 10,000 would have an 'a' under
the serial and so on - but it appears that only maker 'crs' ( Paul Weyersberg
& Co. Solingen ) used the two letter code 'Tr'.........
