When buying, the seller claimed that the Luftwaffe I see a black frog. Maybe so?

Parade frog, but looks black. And who can say how long the troddel has been attached to the frog? Buy what you see, not what you are told.

I just have a brown Luftwaffe frog in my collection. Or maybe my vision fails and on a dress bayonet Arthur Evertz a dark brown frog. I bought it, but it's still on the road.

Possible because the faustriemen looks like LW but service proably not for dress KS98. b.r.Andy

To me the knot looks like it's for artillery or cavalry with a leather strap in field grey, that would go with the black frog. It can be difficult to tell the difference between this color and a Luftwaffe Faustriemen sometimes if they're not side by side.

Its possible the color is different as typical for LW, sometime are visible unit marking inside of long leather strap. b.r.Andy
