DAK bayonet???

Hey guys,

there was a thread here a few weeks ago regarding dak bayonets, and it was said that they can be told by their webbing. I saw this bayonet for sale, the asking price is $200 canadian. It has cloth webbing, is it DAK???

IMO that is not a German DAK frog,also the bayonet has been sharpened,does the bayonet serial match the scabbard? I wouldn`t pay more than $75 for it in that condition.

The web frog was used by German troops all over the Mediteranean theater. It was not exclusive to Africa.

The frog shown is British,here is a German one.

Correct - the one first posted is not a DAK frog, but the bayonet
itself is in terribly poor condition. I would pass on it.........!

Ahhh, thanks guys! I thought it looked similar to the frog on my p1907.....
