Default Dress Bayonet- E.Pack W/Un-plated Blade

Guys, picked this up today at a Yard Sale along with a few other military items. This bayonet appears to have an un-plated blade. I'm not sure if this is unusual but thought you'd like to see. Best, Hal PS; Showing it with another E.Pack from my collection, with the same period MM and plated blade, just for comparison.

Hi Hal, that is interesting. Thanks for showing it. I have not made a huge study of these, but I cannot recall seeing one like this before.

    Cheers, Ade.
