    Default Dress Bayonet - Tiger

I did not have a Dress Bayonet in the collection, and since I have a thing for the Tiger blades I added this one. Also, liked the 2nd marking which I believe is a distributor stamp from Munich.

I'm with you. A blade made by Tiger just sounds cooler anyway. Nice one!
We have met the enemy and have learned nothing more about him. I have, however, learned some things about myself. There are things men can do to one another that are sobering to the soul. Phil, would it be the extended guard on both sides and/or the lack of a bayonet rod groove that makes this a Fireman example?

It's a Fireman's dress bayonet, or "sidearm", Seitengewehr. I have the Polizei version of this Tiger Seitengewehr, don't think the other logo is on it, other side is blank I think.

I'll add a pic tomorrow, I didn't think it was an item anyone would care about that much.

    Hallo,

this is not a bayonet... this is a Faschinenmesser for fireman. Worn in service not only walking out. Regards.

Here out of original service regulations:
