    I did not have a Dress Bayonet in the collection, and since I have a thing for the Tiger blades I added this one. Also, liked the 2nd marking which I believe is a distributor stamp from Munich.

    Phil, would it be the extended guard on both sides and/or the lack of a bayonet rod groove that makes this a Fireman example?

    It's a Fireman's dress bayonet, or "sidearm", Seitengewehr. I have the Polizei version of this Tiger Seitengewehr, don't think the other logo is on it, other side is blank I think.

    this is not a bayonet... this is a Faschinenmesser for fireman. Worn in service not only walking out. Regards.
