The etching is good. This is Eickhorn's design no.3219, it's probably the most commonly seen and so not rare. The KS 98 bayonet is in fair condition, scabbard has lost all it's black paint and the zinc alloy hilt quite worn. Probably made late 1930's. As often is the case the scabbard has however protected the blade.
Very nice I have one just like it in a little better shape .
