    Very nice find as can is a replacement scabbard producer August Wallmeier, used only 1944.

    A rare piece in any condition. First confirmed matching example in the f block of 44fnj. As Sleepwalker noted these are VERY rare pieces. My thoughts only ......

    So i was bored yesterday and decided to clean some of the rust
    i used white vinegar and after 12 hours of soaking this is what i ended up with i will soak the other half tonight
    lighting is not helping but its raining outside it looks better in person
