Default Help with info on K98 bayonet

    Hello everyone,

Just picked this guy up and was curious on how to identify the maker and whatever useful info I can get out of it. Pretty new to k98's but I know the blade and the scabbard are non matching. Also interesting to note, there is a very faint and small eagle proof on the hand guard. Thanks for help.

Nice one, it could be that the additional eagle proof is of rework or a depot stamp, similar were marked on captured M95 bayonets, used probably by police or other securing units. best regards.A.
