    I clean all the oil off of them with a rag and some degreaser/cleaner like simple green, using a soft tooth brush to get into all the corners. Then I "used' to wipe it down with a good gun oil, which is OK. But, I have found that over time the oil residue would draw dust, which in turn would cause little rust speckles if I didn't wipe them down pretty regularly. If you just have a few bayo's, no big deal, if you have a lot, that's a lot of time. Now after cleaning, I rub them down with Renwax and they are good for a year or more.
