I picked this at a flea market for 40 dollars not to long ago. From what I can tell it is spanish(having the markings pr8). Any other info would be appreciated.

Yes it was refurbished in Spain, when look to pommel on side where isnt the press button, maybe there are some small proofs, it looks like german Sg84/98 bayonet, mainly the scabbard is german, on backside should be the producer and date, could You provide the info? thanks,Andy
When you mean it was refurbish, what does that mean? Was it made in Germany, then given to Spain?
New blueing and wrong position of screws, but it could be a spanish M43 bayonet, i tend to german, the scabbard is certainly german. So the markings are important. Thanks,Andy
Right on it mate. Go to the links. German/Spanish Bayonet #1 on Flickr - Photo Sharing! German/Spanish Bayonet #2 on Flickr - Photo Sharing! I hope this helps.
The scabbard was made by Mundlos under S/244 code in 1936.
