    Should have added that I think the maker mark is that of C.Gustav Spitzer.

    It's in excellent condition. Nice find ! - The sheath
    may be for a K98 combat bayonet and not
    a dress type.........

    sheath is correct for this type of bayonet but the frog looks to be from a combat bayonet

    and frog was made in Breslau - today Wroclaw

    I agree with Warbuff and the aging wolf That is a beautiful dress bayonet in fine condition but the frog has been added to combo.
