jwh 44 K98 bayonet...

I stopped at a local antique mall yesterday where I found a dealer who had a couple of K98 bayonets in his case, one a mismatched clc1942 the other a matching jwh 44 (Staatliche Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France) in about as nice a condition as you could hope to find. This one came with a mounted frog marked enn/43 the code for Alois Grull, Taschner, Wien 75. Here are some pics.

Hi Len welcome to the forum. Sometimes that happens with mismatched numbers,, as during that time one part might or been lost and then replaced with another. The bayonet looks great and the frog is in great condition. I am hopeful for the bayonet guys to chime in on this! Regards Larry
