the rusty hilt was reworked and reblued... not the original condition

The producer is unknown as seen on this Manufactures list >>> k98 bayonets data and registry ...
"Pyy" is a not so commonly seen producer which would place this bayo a rarity among collectors.
The 44 is the year of prroduction.
