K98 bayonet brush cleaned blade or scabbard wear?

Opinions of this k98 bayonet blade please . Has the blade been wire brushed or is this general scabbard wear ? Many thanks in advance. Jon

The Bluing has been completely removed from this blade, this is far beyond normal scabbard-caused wear...

Thanks Glenn this confirms my suspicion that it has been heavily cleaned at some point. I don't own the bayonet but was asked to look at it for a friend and alarm bells rang hopefully he can send it back. Cheers Jon
