    I love the bayonets with the wood grips. Much more visually appealing.

    I have no quarrel with that. Zero. Nada. But in defense of the Bakelite type - the General Assault badge has the Bakelite type of grip, and when I decided to branch out it was one of the Bakelite examples that I acquired first. Fred
