Thanks, Ingrid ! - About half of these I've seen are mis-matching.

And thank you, Tom ! - The one with the light grip is an 'asw44'.
Probably 'liberated' from a warehouse as it is quite clean
    - although a little rusty on exposed metal.........

    Steve.

Steve, Thank you for sharing some interesting 98K bayonets. While I know that some sources have S/245 listed as Julius Schmidt. One of the deleted (replaced) makers, it turns out that is not correct, and the maker was in fact Jetter u. Scheerer in Tuttlingen. Who is perhaps better known to dagger collectors as “Aesculap” AG. And later on to the Wehrmacht as “dnw” a maker of surgical instruments. Best Regards, FP

    Great looking bayo's
I've got a couple of those to:
    - S/185 Elite diamant, with frog, matching.
    - 41cof/42cof Carl Eickhorn, with personalized frog, mismatched.
I will post, when i get the time.
Are there anywhere on the internet, you can see how many where produced by each maker ?

    Hi, and thank you !

I have two maker's lists where one says this maker is an 'unknown',
and the other identifies 'S/245' as J. Schmidt - I went
    with the latter.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.
