My Dress Bayonet
I'd been mulling buying one of these for a few months now, and found this at a show this past weekend, the price seemed ok, and I talked him down another 20, so it seemed like a good deal.
I could have sworn I'd seen the makers mark before, but my brothers were in such a hurry to leave, and of course I found it at the end of the show, I didn't have time to check, but tried to rely on my memory, as good as that is.
The tip is a little buggered up, but it's not a bad example for 90USD I thought. I just need to look for a frog now.

Greetings Paul,
The bayo's maker is P.D. Lüneschloss of Solingen.

Cool, thank you Lance! I found a couple of sites for makers marks, but none had this one, but it seemed they had every other maker from Solingen in the lists.

No problem Paul, check out the book discussed in post #134 here https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/imper...ife-370751-14/ and if you choose to invest in it, a two minute leafing through answers most German maker marks' questions.
Cheers,
Lance
